Due diligence & architecture review

An independent, senior read of a system before you commit to it: code quality, architecture, infrastructure, security posture, the team behind it and what it really costs to run. For acquisitions, vendor selection and platform decisions.

Typical duration: 1–2 weeks. Fixed scope, quoted up front.

What you get

  • Architecture and code review with the risks ranked by severity
  • Infrastructure, security and data-protection findings
  • A view of the team and process: key-person risk, delivery pace, documentation
  • Running cost today and the cost to fix what we found

A good fit when

  • You are acquiring or investing in a company whose product is software
  • You are choosing between vendors or platforms for a critical system
  • A system you depend on keeps breaking and you need an outside opinion

How it runs

  1. 01

    Scope

Agree what is being reviewed, what decision it informs and the access we will have.

  2. 02

    Review

Agents scan the repositories, infrastructure and documentation. Senior engineers read the parts that matter, interview the team and test the claims.

  3. 03

    Report

Findings ranked by severity, with evidence, and a plain recommendation for the decision at hand.

Questions about this service

How much access do you need?

Read access to repositories, infrastructure and documentation, and an hour or two with the engineering lead. We sign an NDA before any of it and never copy code outside the review environment.

Can you review a system without the owner's cooperation?

Partly. We can assess what is externally visible and what the counterparty shares in a data room, and we say clearly which conclusions are limited by that.

Do you also fix what you find?

We can, as a separate engagement. The report is written so that any competent team can act on it.
